About Us.

How we became the largest in the Pacific Northwest
Kent and Jami Drangsholt had no idea what they got themselves into Spring of 2012, purchasing abandoned storage units was just the beginning. Rapid growth led to a quick take over of the garage and Jami, Kent’s wife, lost her parking space. Jami’s spitfire of a personality forced Kent out of the garage and into a small store and they named it The Garage Sale Warehouse, that first store was later the Annex to a larger store because Kent once again found himself overgrown with items and people kept requesting to rent space from the store.
Carrying the spirit of an entrepreneur, Kent realized there was a significant void within the market that could not be ignored and thus TGSW continues to grow like wildfire!
The Garage Sale Warehouse quickly transformed into the largest indoor Antiques and Collectable Mall in the Pacific Northwest! They had over 125 vendors and 44,000 sf to search for treasures. No matter what your looking for something was bound to catch your eye and takes you down memory lane!
In 2021 things at TGSW were going to change again. The building which was home to TGSW for the past 8 years was sold, and they had to find a new home for TGSW.
Luckily Kent found a new building and it was transformed into the new TGSW location located at 17880 SW McEwan Rd in Lake Oswego. The space is a little smaller but is still full of great vendors with unique items to sell. We have about 80 vendors now, and items will still catch your eye and take you to memory lane!
We look forward to being a part of the Tualatin/Lake Oswego community and bring a unique shopping experience to all who enter our store. We open February 1, 2022 – Come see the new TGSW and while your there, be sure to go next door and have lunch or dinner At The Garages Live Music Venue, Eatery & Taphouse!
